This LIMITED EDITION Heritage Series print commemorates the 75th Anniversary of D-Day, and features the three F-15s painted in commemorative schemes by the Liberty Wing in remembrance of the event.  The artwork also features the P-47D "Nellie," wearing the D-Day Invasion Stripes scheme that inspired the artwork and colors on the F-15s of the 492nd, 493rd, and 494th Fighter Squadrons.  Enlarged artwork displays the nose art of each jet, and on the lower portion of the print is the special markings carried on the opposite, starboard fuselage.  Printed over a subdued map of the D-Day Air Operations Plan, this special piece is an excellent reminder of the tremendous effort undertaken 75 years ago on the 6th of June, 1944.
