In 2024, the 555th Fighter Squadron at Aviano Airbase, Italy, unveiled a new, high visibility tail flash commemorating the squadron's participation in OPERATION BOLO and OPERATION ROLLING THUNDER. Adorning F-16CM 87-0350 this stunning scheme features a SEA themed tail that honors the Triple Nickel's participation in both operations, with oversized kill stars recognizing OPERATION BOLO's success in decimating the North Vietnamese MiG threat.
