Print: 11x17" Maquette
Subject: Thunderbolt Heritage - 124th Fighter Wing/190th Fighter Squadron
Paper: Satin finish heavyweight card stock
Painted to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the 124th Fighter Wing, and capture the heritage of the 190th Fighter Squadron all the way back to its predecessor, the 405th Fighter Squadron, this 11x17" print features the special anniversary scheme applied to one of the Idaho ANG's A-10 Warthog "Thunderbolt II" aircraft, along with a P-47D Razorback bearing the markings of "Mumblin Joe" from the 405th Fighter Squadron. This unique heritage shows the tradition and lineage of both the unit and the Thunderbolt namesake, and hearkens all the way back to the Airmen who fought valiantly during Operation Overlord and the rest of World War II. A great addition to any A-10 or P-47 fan's collection!
