On February 1, 2019, the US Navy officially recognized the Sundown of the last F/A-18C "Legacy" Hornet squadron. Since 1983, the Hornet served as the US Navy's primary Strike Fighter, performing worldwide in a variety of conflicts, roles, and theaters as a reliable, accurate, and capable platform. VFA-34, the Blue Blasters, are the final US Navy squadron to convert to the newer, more advanced F/A-18 Super Hornet, also known as the Rhino.
This 11x17" print commemorates the special markings and final scheme worn by the US Navy's last operational F/A-18C squadron, VFA-34.
